Why This Substack Exists

This is just the outpouring of a young and wild imagination standing on a rock in a stormy sea. If the right people will not explore the heights and depths of our fantastical world, the wrong people will.

Who I Am

I’m a teenage boy who’s seen some stuff, and everything that comes with that.

What I Write About

Depending on the weather, I can be funny, nerdy, sarcastic, or really deep.

You’ll hear some random stories from my life that I think young dudes will relate to.

I write fiction and poetry. I like MG/YA action-adventure, encompassing real fic, epic fantasy, and everything in between.

I also write about fiction, because for some reason Christians are very illiterate there. I find it hard to believe that the Christian haven’t written any household names since the 1950s.

Expect some theology, philosophy, and cultural commentary thrown in for good measure. I’m particularly drawn to controversial things, and I’m not sorry about it.

The Bottom Line

I don’t believe in writing things that make people happy. I write things that are real. Things that resonate deeply with the human soul. Things that make people go that’s me. I hope to inspire Christians to see the world as it is and take dominion of what Christ has already conquered.
